“Totally Like Whatever” by Taylor Mali This really had to be said Related 7 Comments Thelma on May 17, 2008 at 8:23 pm I like this guy. Everything he said is so true. Great post VV! Reply Vinnie Vegas on May 28, 2008 at 8:50 am Thelma, I was very impressed by ‘Totally Like Whatever,’ and as you know I don’t impress easily! I am glad he said this – it is indeed so true! Reply jaytee on May 23, 2008 at 9:56 am America, consider yourselves sternly reprimanded! And kudos to Taylor for the Scrabble plug. Ironically, half the audience hooting for him probably couldn’t spell well enough to play the game. Heck, they probably didn’t recognize half he words he used! Reply Vinnie Vegas on May 28, 2008 at 8:51 am Jaytee, This is a well deserved, stern, and well articulated reprimand courtesy of Talyor Mail! Lets hope people pay attention! Reply Thelma on May 24, 2008 at 10:31 pm Jaytee, I agree. The number of people who can’t spell is astounding. It also seems that many people are afraid to use many of the wonderful words in the English language for fear of appearing smart and well-read. I suppose that would be considered embarrassing?!?!? Reply jaytee on May 29, 2008 at 11:42 am Indeed, Thelma, sadly, it is considered uncool in more than a few subcultures to be articulate and literate. An appreciation for education is evidence that you’ve sold out to the Establishment: you’re not one with the rabble, er, I mean, the People! Reply sandrar on September 10, 2009 at 6:21 am Hi!
