I am a longtime pro wrestling fan, going back to when it was actually very good and a whole lot more fun!

I saw my first match on UHF TV, snowy picture and Spanish commentary, way back in 1975 and have been hooked ever since!

I was raised in the North East so it was WWWF programing. That company would change to the WWF and then to the WWE, and would win the wrestling wars!

Sleep soundly, brother – I can ID all the wrestling personalities in the video, and then some!

Yes, this is quite a video. I particularly love the WWF’s 1985 roster – lots of talent and a well rounded group of personalities. On balance, good wrestlers, good brawlers, good comedy acts, and lots of charisma.

Makes me realize how everyone basically looks and acts the same on the current WWE roster. A shame.

The MMA community couldn’t pull this off, pal! I agree!

Kudos to your extraordinary expertise – the VJ was actually one of the few people in the clip that I didn’t know! ;-)

Frankly, I’d have been pretty disappointed if you couldn’t name most of the parties involved – but I knew there was no reason to worry!

There was plenty to be disturbed about in this video, but the most disturbing thing for me was the hairstyle on that VJ after the video ended. Yikes! The 80′s were something else, weren’t they? I don’t suppose we’ll see a video as spirited as this from the mixed martial arts community anytime soon!

And by the way, here’s an example of my expertise: the VJ with the hair was a celeb herself: that was Alannah Currie of the Thompson Twins!

Hey, look at it this way. Sheiky Baby gets several solo lines, even S.D. Jones gets two. My only beef: Terry Funk should have been given more than just that cameo at the end.
