I really suspect that dad isn’t mentioned because he ran as far away from the woman in this ad as possible, through the miracle of divorce! I don’t blame him.

I certainly hope he is getting that cold beer and sandwich post haste, by a real woman!

I agree entirely.

The reason I don’t write about the weak dads so much is that they are not shameless and shallow self promoters like many women.

Seldom will you see a man take pause to note how hard his job is, being both breadwinner, husband, and father.

While many men clearly fail at fathering, they don’t have nearly as many delusions about being a great parent as single or divorced moms.

While I agree that modern-day mothers have failed miserably, I also hold the fathers responsible. What where they doing while everything was falling apart in the American home? Perhaps they were fearful of being whipped by a cat?
