Stand By Our Tan!
“When things get nut & crazy!”
Tan Nguyen, the GOP candidate for California’s 47th District, had an awesome political rally in his neighborhood, featuring “Stand By Our Tan,” by a rising Vietnamese singing sensation!

I say inspirational because it has inspired me to either move to the 47th district and vote for Tan (‘because after all, he’s a good man’), or to alternately become Vietnamese myself!

I wrote to his campaign and suggested some new lyrics, “Stand by your tan, but don’t stay in the sun for too long….” What do you think?

Wow!
Is Tan Nguyen for real? Does he real think hovering over people at a polling booth on November 7, will real help his cause? I think it might have worked in back in elementary school, I guess he does what has worked for him as an adult. He real should have step aside as he was asked by the party (he must think he is bigger than the party), but instead he will continue to disgrace himself, his family, the Vietnamese community, the GOP and Orange County. This guy was always way over his head; a) He never was a serious contender, b) He sent out a letter that he did not comprehend (on letterhead that was not his by a couple who happen to be his friend and staff member), c) He first denies his campaign sent the letter, d) He accuses and fires his staff member for the letter, e) He does an about face and tries to re-hire his staff member, f) He has a tissy fit and blames the whole thing on his opponent, which brings me to his campaign theme which is “I Blame other for my shortcomings, I do not take full responsibility for my mistakes and do not show grace under pressure”. Well, yesterday “Joe Public” “Told Him It Like It Is”. How appropriate!
I just thought this campaign song was hysterical!
I didn’t know a thing about this guy, so I did a little research. I think it’s fair to say he doesn’t come off as the sharpest tack in the drawer, but gosh darn it, from his interviews, he sounds like my kind of guy! Even though it’s likely he’s lost the election — I’ll stand by our Tan! And as for your sudden desire to be Vietnamese, judging by the comely supporter in fishnet stockings, I’m not so sure it’s Tan’s politics that have you wanting to switch!
I will ‘Stand by our Tan!’
I’m proud of Tan. He’s a good man. Tan’s got my full support.
Norah, Tan has a great theme song, that’s all I know! I hope they release it on CD with an album full of Tan songs! ‘Cause after all, he’s a good man!
