Besides all the excellent (and obvious!) points he makes in his stern reprimand of that young upstart, Newt makes another great observation: we Republicans are indeed the more intellectually diverse party! As he said, we can disagree on a lot of things, but we’re rock-solid on the most important few. Over in Democratland, any deviation from the usual deviancy results in insult and ostracism! We Republicans disagree, and yet, we are still united. Our diversity is the truest diversity, and in the end that is what makes us the stronger party!
