Indeed! Putting aside the fact that she is an intellectual lightweight and a useless trust fund case, is it wise giving her the NY Senate seat, given all her family’s troubles?

Two Kennedys have been shot dead (JFK and RFK). Two have had serious car crashes (Teddy and Patrick). One (Michael) was killed when he skied into a tree [a stationary object, mind you].

Yet another (John-John) killed himself, his bride, and his sister-in-law when he crashed his plane.

Why tempt fate?

Look, uh, I think America was changed, uh, for the better on November 4th, and, uh, Caroline is, you know, uh, a Kennedy, so, uh, she’s better for New York. I hope she can, uh, drive a car or, uh, fly a small plane better than she speaks, though.
