You’ve got to admit, though, he made the best recovery possible.
I’ve tried to be chartiable and square my negative impressions of Biden with the man his son described in his introduction of the VP candidate at the convention. But all of that stuff happened in the 70s, back when, coincidentally, he still opposed abortion and hadn’t sold his soul to political expediency.

I have found Joe Biden one of the more laughable and unintentionally funny figures in the Senate for a few decades now. I never bought his ‘blue collar’ act, and frankly, a guy who has been in the senate since age 30 doesn’t inspire confidence in my book.
Well, to be fair, at least he wasn’t being malevolent!
If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a malevolent plagiarist!
