It appears that Michael Savage zeroed on this scenario in a speech he gave back in 1998 warning the public to "beware the government-media complex." If the democrats had their way, they would persuade the media to squash 'Path to 911'. You are so right that egos are getting in the way, after all, much should have been done during the Clinton administration to avert a Sept. 11th and none of the players from that time want the media finger pointed at them. I agree with Savage that the media needs to be a thorn on the side of the government and not the citizens. It is only then that we can learn the lessons and implement corrective measures.
