Yes, it was a memorable role in Silver Streak, indeed. Mr McGoohan was a fine actor!

This is’nt listed but he had a small role in
“Silverstreak” also.
I thought he did a good job, he was a very good actor.

It’s a sad day, and sadder still that such an icon of strength, integrity, and independent thinking has left us just as we are entering an age where that sort ofthng will be in short supply. We need No. 6 now more than ever! But he’s still with us, isn’t he? Six of one, half a dozen of another. If we have the wisdom and courage to choose his path, any one of us can be the new Number Six. Just as it was at the end of that epic series, the struggle for our freedom begins again. Hammer into Anvil!
