What was this guy thinking? Partying with drunken, nubile college girls in bikinis? Anybody could see that he’d have to walk away after only a few days with two years pay and benefits. Hope he learned his lesson. A cautionary tale for us all!

I love the tale of Merrill Lynch & Co.’s former CEO, Stanley O’Neal. He was at the helm when ML had an $8 billion loss through the 3rd Quarter of 2007.

For all his hard work, he earned $46 million in compensation in 2006, including salary and annual bonuses, and got a sweet departure deal on his way out of ML in shame.

I could have lost them $8 billion in three quarters for 1/2 of what they paid O’Neal! ;-)

How can I get this kind of job? Pay me 400 G’s to “resign”, pay my medical, dental and life insurace for the rest of my life….oh, and I can go to a different school district and get teh same kind of job all over again.
