Matthews and Olbermann fight on MSNBC

Settle down, girls…

There is a little known tv cable news network called MSNBC, and lately there has only been one reason to tune into their programming – the behind-the-scenes feud that occasionally bubbles up to on-screen hijinks!

The two combatants are the irrepressible Chrissy Matthews and the midget boy wonder, Keith Olbermann. Olbermann, as you may recall, suffered the indignity of his former girlfriend writing up juicy details of their love life on her blog. She revealed how remarkably inept he is off screen, as well as chronicled his inadequate bedroom abilities and his genetic shortcomings. That may explain much of Olbermann’s deep anger at life!

Sit back and watch the pissy duo get snippy while covering the Democrat National Convention!

And this in a week where Olbermann was fighting on camera with Joe Scarborough. Keith had an amusing run ten years ago covering the Lewinsky scandal, but he’s another very bitter man.

Olbermann has his problems – his ex-galpal filled us in on all his deep inadequacies. Add to that a combination of his little man complex, his low-caliber mind, and his exaggerated sense of self importance, and you get quite a volatile mixture.

Me, I consider the mixture more comical than anything else.

Let me guess, you like Bill O.

I usually get into a pattern where I watch his show for a few weeks, then lose interest for a few weeks, then come back for a few weeks, etc.

Even when I do watch, I skip commercials and boring segments via the magic of Tivo. I usually manage to watch the show in about 20 minutes.

These days I’m not watching it much at all.

I think the real lesson here is that Chris Matthews and Coors Light do not mix!

Keith Olbermann is cool, so what if he has a fight with a co worker, dont hannity and colmes argue, dont bill oreilly adn heraldo riverra argue ?

    • September 9th, 2008 at 10:51 | #8

      Jim,

Hannity and Colmes certainly argue, but I don’t think they actually fight very often, if ever. They disagree but they treat each other with respect and courtesy, usually.

I am not a regular watcher of Bill O’R these days but yes, he and Geraldo have fought a few of times.

Matthews/Olbermann is much more of a pissy catfight, though. As for Olbermann being cool, KarmaBites1 has some thoughts on the matter. She doesn’t think he is very cool at all, and she knew him intimately.

Indeed, word is he left her with more than a few very empty and unsatisfying experiences…

      Page Six reports…

KEITH GETS LOW RATINGS IN BED

October 9, 2006 — A BROWN-haired beauty who claims she had an unsatisfying one-night stand with Keith Olbermann is getting her sweet revenge – she’s launched a blog to warn other women about the acerbic MSNBC commentator’s boorish bedroom habits.

The bitter babe, who calls herself KarmaBites1, says she doesn’t want others “to fall into the same trap . . . and I want him to feel some remorse for what he’s done . . . He sets his mind on a woman, lures her in, and once he gets what he wants, he refuses to ever speak to them again. And I don’t think he understands the damage he’s caused.”

A 30-something office worker of Caribbean descent, KarmaBites1 said she struck up an e-mail friendship with Olbermann, whom she admired, and agreed to fly to New York to meet him last May. She says he came to her hotel room and opened a bottle of Merlot which he “spilled all over.” Then, when “sexual activity began [in] less than an hour,” Olbermann had difficulty. “I pretended he knew what he was doing,” the embittered blogger writes. “I adored the guy. I didn’t want him to think he was a dud in bed,” so she faked experiencing ecstasy.

Next, he piled on excuses as to why he had to leave. “He told me he’s an insomniac and that it’s hard for him not to sleep in his own bed. He also mentioned he hadn’t had ‘company’ in a while. [He said] he had an early meeting with the Yankees [and] he might be allergic to the pillows in the hotel bed.”

Six days later, she claims, Olbermann e-mailed her to tell her never to contact him again. “I practically begged him to explain what I did wrong. I told him I deserved some kind of explanation for such a dismissal, but I never heard from him again.” She said she’s since heard from six other women who say they had brief sexual relationships with Olbermann.

She named her blog forthisreliefmuchthanks.blogspot.com, after a line from “Hamlet” she says the perennial bachelor quoted.

Olbermann’s spokeswoman said she’d get back to us, but didn’t.

that’s funny about his girlfriend. Maybe that explains it. Maybe Keith has yet to be laid since she made that article. It’s so obvious how one sided Keith is. I thought if Msnbc wants to really make their network interesting, they should hire Rush Limbaugh. THan you could have two moreons, Keith and Rush, dishing out insults. It’s a win win situation. Rush brings the pills, and he helps Keiths problem with being “short” to the point. Or nevermind. I wonder why MSNBC is third in the ratings, way behind cnn and fox. Oh………these guys are why.

I think Olbermann should start a career in action movies. I’d pay $12 to see those films!

Sometimes watching his show I am convinced his daddy owns msnbc and he lets his spoiled son have an hour.

Oh I forgot to add his 7th grade son.

(cause that’s all you hear from this tool.
