Veterans Day 2007
A Salute To All The Veterans of The US Armed Forces
Veterans Day is an American holiday honoring military veterans, and it is celebrated on the same day as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world, falling on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I.
Veterans Day is largely intended to thank veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to United States national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served – not only those who died – have sacrificed and done their duty.
Please enjoy this medley of US Armed Forces anthems courtesy of one of my great heroes, Gene Simmons.

Watching those soldiers sing along with pride almost brought a tear to my eye! YOu rarely see it in the media these days — unabashed patriotism. We need more of this, and guys like Gene. I’m too old for military service, now, but I’ll always be a member of the Kiss Army!
Jaytee,
I share your sentiment 100%. Kudos to Gene Simmons – he loves the USA! And why not – we’ve done more good for more people than any other nation in the world. Other countries talk a mean game, but they can’t and won’t do the heavy lifting. They leave that to the USA – a country they look upon with scorn.
To hell with them.
As Gene says says, introducing the immortal lyrics by the legendary Mr. Irving Berlin, “This is about America. It’s about God. It’s about Country.” Right on, Gene!!
