Rock Candy Baby, You’re Mine!

Great post Vinnie Vegas! Wow, Rockin’ to beat all; great song and the singer is oh, so Daddy-O handsome retro 50′s-60′s but I never heard of it before you came along to teach me some more. It shows up to view far better off your blog. If anything showed in my tiny berg like this all the hayseeds would have left town with this Pied Piper!;-) Still asking how in the world do you know about all these things??? I’m the oldie and I should know about them and I don’t.
The film ‘Daddy-O’ is largely a forgettable Juvenile Delinquent film from the 1950s, so it’s not a surprise that the song ‘Rock Candy Baby’ was forgettable. Best I know it didn’t even get a single.
But man-o-man, I dig it, Daddy-O!
Man, why’d you have to post that crazy rock n’ roll?? I was on my way to the library, but now I wanna smoke cigarettes behind the school, wear blue jeans, and accost young ladies from the driver’s seat of my hot rod! You’ve just corrupted my moral fiber!
That guy on sax is crazy, man! Outta control!
One thing that bothers me about this clip, though,is that the icy blond seems a bit contemptuous of Daddy-O. She has a lot of nerve – it’s his movie, after all. It says so in the title of the film! She shouldn’t be able to get away with that.
