Boldly returning to where no man has gone before!
Here’s the neat new full-length trailer that’s been running in theaters with the new James Bond movie. I can’t sign on to this yet, and I have my doubts, but if that’s a young & fit Uhura stripping down to her Starfleet undies, I’ll be there on opening day!
I dunno . . . . I see a lot of the standard issue flash and CGI, but I don’t get the sense it has real heart. We’ll see. Have to admit, though, that as most Trek movies have been only fair at best, the new kids don’t really have a very high standard to meet.
True. Wait and see. I am an oldschool Trek fan as you know, but will probably go see this film in the theaters.
As a practical matter, my expectations are very low.
If nothing else, is Uhura in her Starfleet undies worth the $12 theater admission? Who am I kidding, of course!
