Dr. Reed Richards Builds A Mechanical Marvel!

One of the films I am looking forward to this coming summer is the sequel to the fun & funny ‘Fantastic Four’ film, ‘FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.’ It promises to bring to life the legendary Lee-Kirby ‘Galactus Trilogy’ from FF # 48-50! Debuting in this film will be the FF’s versatile ‘Fantasticar.’

Works for me! The FF I always loved was about exciting, escapist fun, and The Fantasticar sure looks like exciting, escapist fun! You can read more about it in today’s USA Today - just click on this link!

Now We Won’t Find Out How He Would Have Done It

Word just broke that the increasingly controversial OJ Simpson book “If I Did It,” where the football legend and movie star speculates exactly how he would have killed his wife and Ron Goldman “if he did it,” has been canceled by the publisher. The 2-part TV interview scheduled for a week from today has been canceled, also.

I guess they ran this one up the flagpole and nobody saluted, as we say in the corporate world!

I had no plans on watching it nor buying the book, but at the same time i figured the tv interview was going to be a huge hit. Folks eat this stuff up. I guess some serious heat came down.

Michael Richards Racist Tirade

Fans at the West Hollywood ‘Laugh Factory’ were treated to an unexpected part of Michael Richard’s stand-up act.

After being badgered by several patrons who were heckling him, he exploded in a bigoted tirade that has to be seen to be believed. Yahoo News reports.

The tirade apparently began after two black audience members started shouting at him that he wasn’t funny.

Richards retorted: “Shut up! Fifty years ago we’d have you upside down with a f—— fork up your a–.”

He then paced across the stage taunting the men for interrupting his show, peppering his speech with racial slurs and profanities.

“You can talk, you can talk, you’re brave now mother——. Throw his a– out. He’s a n—–!” Richards shouts before repeating the racial epithet over and over again.

Works for me! Amazing how this comic considers our cast of characters wearing masks of JFK, Marilyn Monroe, and of all people Jerry Lewis as hilariously funny tricks played on Krypto! Maybe you just had to be there!

GOP Wipeout?

Well, I have been busy for the last 10 days pouring over 100s of polls and election data. Notwithstanding chubby Chrissy Matthew’s prediction of a ‘Wipeout’ for the GOP, I don’t think the GOP will fare nearly as badly as Chrissy - and most political analysts - expect.

Here is my prediction for the US Senate and US House of Representatives:Senate: GOP 53, Dem 45, Ind 2
House: GOP 222, Dem 210

Admittedly, my predictions have a margin for error ranging between of -25% and +10%!

“When things get nut & crazy!”

Tan Nguyen, the GOP candidate for California’s 47th District, had an awesome political rally in his neighborhood, featuring “Stand By Our Tan,” by a rising Vietnamese singing sensation!

I say inspirational because it has inspired me to either move to the 47th district and vote for Tan (’because after all, he’s a good man’), or to alternately become Vietnamese myself!

I wrote to his campaign and suggested some new lyrics, “Stand by your tan, but don’t stay in the sun for too long….” What do you think?
